Grasping the grand narrative of all 66 books of Scripture and reading God's redemptive history as one unbroken story is the heart of our teaching.
At the center of all our worship, preaching, teaching, and discipleship stands the Bible alone.
More than simply reading the Bible, it is a way of learning Scripture that grasps the Old and New Testaments as one great, unfolding story.
Rather than treating the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament as separate collections, we read from Genesis to Revelation as one continuous story of God's redemption. By tracing each book's historical background and flow, we take hold of the thread that runs through the whole of Scripture.
This Bible read-through methodology has been refined and systematized through decades of research and teaching experience. Every member of the Word Church pastoral staff has completed the training and qualified as a certified lecturer to teach this curriculum.
From preschool children to adults, a step-by-step curriculum designed for every age and stage helps the whole church family grow together in the Word. Each age group learns the same grand narrative of Scripture in a way suited to its own level.
The sermons at Sunday Worship (1st and 2nd Services) and the Friday Prayer Meeting are all proclaimed along the flow of TongBible. Teaching and preaching are never separated; they run together as one stream of the Word — a distinctive strength of Word Church.

From preschool to adults, every generation learns the same Word of God in ways fitted to their age.
Through pictures and play, our youngest children meet the stories of the Bible and the love of God for the very first time. From creation to the story of Jesus, everything is shared at a level little hearts can grasp.
Children begin to grasp the great sweep of biblical history. Through the key events and figures of the Old Testament, they learn God's redemptive story and lay a firm foundation in the Word.
Through a Bible read-through that connects the Old and New Testaments, our students put down deep roots of faith. They grow into young people who stand firm on the Word amid the currents of the world.
Young adults read through all 66 books of the Bible and come to a deep understanding of the history of God's kingdom. Trained to apply the Word in the midst of daily life, they are built up as strong servants of God.
Sunday sermons, Friday worship, and small-group sharing all move along the flow of TongBible. The entire community learns and shares together in the same language of the Word.
The ministers of Word Church, deeply trained in the Bible read-through and TongBible, teach our congregation personally as certified lecturers.
